how to make Thayir sadam

Sr. no       INGREDIENTS        QTY     UNITS
1.                  raw rice                     500          gm.
2.                   milk                          250           ml
3.                  frusta curd                 150            gm
4.                   salt         
5.                   ginger                             2          pieces
6.                   asafetida                          1                 tsp
7.                   green chilies                   50               gm
8.                    coriander leaves             1                bunch
9.                    mustered seeds             ½                 tsp.
10.                 Bengal gram                     3         
11.                 gramdal                            2                 tsp


Method:
Cook rice till it become soft and allow it to cool.
Mash with and add thick milk.
Heat oil add the seasoning and fry till golden brown color.
Add salt green chilies and ginger sauté for a minute and pour over the rice.
Add curd salt, asafetida and mix well.
Serve noon after mixing with curd.
Garnish with coriander leaves.
